Wordpress: Font becomes Bold

A weird problem occurred right after publishing my previous post. The font somehow changed its properties to BOLD. Looks really ugly. It only affect the main page. “Did someone hack into my wordpress?”. I don’t know. It was just a thought. Maybe my CSS file got corrupted? I quickly open Filezilla, connect to my domain and replace the CSS file. The problem is still there. Even after refreshing the page. Definitely not CSS.

Solution 1:

  1. Try to remember what was the last post published before you realize this problem. The problem lies within the last post.
  2. Open the post with wordpress visual editor and look for an icon that looks like an eraser.
  3. Click the icon. It will remove any stange coding or formating.
  4. Save the post and view it with a browser.

Solution 2 (try this if the first solution didn’t work):

  1. Open the post with wordpress visual editor. Copy the post and paste it to any text editor such as MS Word.
  2. Delete the post.
  3. Write a new post. Do not copy and paste. You need to write the post again manually.

This problem usually occurs when the post is being copied and paste from another source (MS Word, notepad, the web etc…).

*in my case, I copied the post from a notepad.
